Dan Wilkerson, a Springfield, Ill. native and son of NHRA Full Throttle Series Funny Car racer Tim Wilkerson, made headlines last year after he not only survived a horrific crash at Memphis Motorsports Park, but walked away from the wreckage unharmed.
